Jungsuk Lee is an experimental Korean ceramic artist and educator whose quietly radical practice challenges inherited ideas of material, tradition and value. Working with blue-and-white ceramics, he reintroduces water into the making process to soften and partially dissolve his vessels, creating surfaces that evoke excavated objects. His Fragile series embraces vulnerability while questioning how age, history and cultural value are projected onto objects. Through this process of deliberate erosion, Lee gently unsettles ceramic tradition and extends it into the language of contemporary sculpture.
